Bactericide-5225 is a rapid acting dispersant for the control of recirculating and once through cooling water systems.
Bactericide-5225 has been effective in treating water, especially for the control of mussel growth in once through cooling systems at coastal power stations.
Bactericide-5225 has good penetrating properties and will disperse sludge.
Bactericide-5225 is also an effective biocide treatment for water used in air scrubbers.
Applications/Functions:
In recirlculating cooling water systems Bactericide-5225 is added on a continuous basis, based on the volume of water in the system.
Bactericide-5225 is also used in the oilfield for control of bacteria growth in injection water.
