Product Description:
Pipe Lax is a blended liquid mixture of few aliphatic hydrocarbons with some surfactants .It is used as oil-based lubricant for all kind of drilling fluids.
Applications/Functions:
This lubricant is a liquid and will not screen out of the system. Fluid loss in emulsion systems treated with Pipe lax will generaplly be lowered.
This reduces the thickness of the cake and consequently the contact area of the pipe. In addition, the emulsified oil penetrates the area between the pipe and the well bore to lubricate the contact reducing drag.
